Twice yearly—before heating season and before cooling season—a J&G Heating & Air Conditioning technician visits to thoroughly evaluate your systems. We test components, measure performance, clean or replace filters, optimize efficiency, and identify small problems before they become emergency repairs.

When your furnace fails on a January night or your air conditioning stops on a July afternoon, maintenance plan members get priority dispatch. You don’t wait—we get a technician to your home quickly. That priority access is worth hundreds when you’re facing a heating or cooling emergency.

When repairs are needed, maintenance plan members receive discounted rates on labor and parts. Many members save this amount on their first emergency repair—essentially making the plan free. Subsequent repairs deliver ongoing savings.

Maintenance Plan Questions

What’s included in the annual tune-ups?

Spring AC tune-up includes: filter replacement, refrigerant level check, electrical connections test, condenser coil cleaning, system performance test. Fall furnace tune-up includes: safety check, heat exchanger inspection, burner assembly cleaning, combustion efficiency test, blower operation test. Both visits conclude with a written report and recommendations.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes. If your situation changes, you can cancel. However, most members renew because the value is obvious—especially after their first emergency repair.

What if I don’t use the included maintenance visits?

That’s okay—you still get the discounted repair rates whenever you need service. But we encourage you to use the maintenance visits because prevention is far more cost-effective than repair.

Does membership cover parts and labor, or just labor?

Membership includes the maintenance visits and the tune-up work. If parts need replacement during maintenance (like a filter), filter costs are typically minimal. Major repairs and parts are discounted but not fully covered—that’s what the discounted repair rates are for.

Can I transfer membership if I move?

If you move outside our service area (Lancaster, Denver, Ephrata, Columbia, Lititz), the membership ends. If you move within our service area, your membership continues.
