Service Agreement & Site Terms

Last updated: May 6, 2026

This agreement is between you (“customer,” “you”) and J&G Heating & Air Conditioning (“J&G,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 3671 Main St, Conestoga, PA 17516. We’ve been in business since 1997 and operate as a Pennsylvania-licensed HVAC contractor. These terms apply to anyone who uses our website, requests an estimate, or hires us for HVAC, water heater, generator, or indoor-air-quality services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website, requesting service, or accepting our work, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or hire us. We may update these terms periodically (see Section 12)—continued use means you accept the latest version.

2. Services Provided

J&G Heating & Air Conditioning provides residential and commercial HVAC services in Lancaster County and surrounding Pennsylvania communities. Our services include:

  • Air conditioning, heat pump, mini-split, furnace, boiler, and geothermal installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Tank, tankless, and power-vented water heater services
  • Indoor air quality systems (air filtration, UV lights, humidification)
  • Whole-home and commercial generator installation and repair
  • Commercial HVAC including rooftop units, commercial boilers, and VRF systems
  • Emergency service (Mon–Sun, 6:00 AM–10:00 PM, after-hours fee applies)

Service availability depends on location, equipment compatibility, and current scheduling. Some specialty services may require a site visit before we can confirm scope.

3. Estimates and Pricing

We provide written estimates before starting most work. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and the scope discussed during our visit. Final pricing depends on the actual work performed, parts required, and any conditions discovered on site that weren’t apparent during the estimate.

Estimates are typically valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise noted. After that, we may need to re-quote based on parts costs and scheduling. Verbal estimates are non-binding—a written estimate or signed work order is the final pricing reference.

If unforeseen issues come up during a job (hidden damage, code-required upgrades, etc.), we’ll stop, explain what we found, and get your approval before continuing. No surprise charges.

4. Scheduling, Access, and Cancellations

We schedule appointment windows in advance and do our best to arrive within the window. Emergency calls are dispatched as quickly as possible. We’ll call ahead before arrival when feasible.

You agree to provide reasonable site access—clear pathways to equipment, working power, and a safe work environment. If we can’t access the equipment or the site is unsafe, we may need to reschedule and a trip charge may apply.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice when possible. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee, especially for installations and major repairs that require parts ordering or crew scheduling. Emergency service is available Monday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–10:00 PM, with an after-hours fee outside regular business hours.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless you’ve set up financing or a maintenance-plan billing arrangement. We accept credit cards, debit cards, ACH bank transfers, and other arrangements as discussed.

For larger jobs (installations, major repairs), a deposit may be required before work begins. Financing through Wells Fargo, PowerPay, or GoodLeap is available for qualified customers—ask about flexible monthly payment options.

Invoices are due within 30 days of issue unless otherwise stated. Late payments may incur a finance charge consistent with Pennsylvania law. We reserve the right to suspend service or pursue collection on past-due accounts.

6. Warranties

Equipment we install carries the manufacturer’s warranty—typically 5–10 years on parts, with extended options available. We register manufacturer warranties on your behalf at installation. Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer (Heil, Fujitsu, Generac, Bradford White, etc.) and are not adjusted by us.

We stand behind our workmanship per company policy. If something we installed or repaired fails due to our work within the workmanship warranty period, we’ll fix it. Workmanship warranty does not cover failures caused by lack of routine maintenance, misuse, modifications by others, pre-existing conditions in the home, acts of nature, or damage caused by third parties.

To preserve manufacturer warranties, equipment must be properly maintained per manufacturer recommendations. Our maintenance plans help keep that documentation in order.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Pennsylvania law, J&G Heating & Air Conditioning’s total liability arising out of or related to any service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service.

We are not liable for incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages—including loss of use, lost profits, or property damage caused by pre-existing site conditions outside our control. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under Pennsylvania law (e.g., gross negligence or willful misconduct).

8. Use of This Website

Our website is provided as-is and as-available. We do our best to keep it accurate, secure, and up to date, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access or that the site will be free of errors, bugs, or security issues.

You agree not to scrape, crawl, harvest content, attempt to compromise the site’s security, introduce malware, impersonate another user, or use the site for unlawful purposes. We reserve the right to block access for misuse.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website—including text, photos, logos, the J&G logo, and the site’s design—is owned by J&G Heating & Air Conditioning or used under license. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. Manufacturer logos (Heil, Fujitsu, etc.) are property of their respective owners and used here under fair use or license.

10. External Links

Our site links to third-party resources (manufacturer websites, financing portals, payment processors, review platforms) for your convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. When you click an external link, the destination site’s terms apply.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Before filing any formal dispute, we ask that you contact us first—most issues can be resolved with a phone call. Reach us at 717-872-6994.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site or services after we update terms means you accept the changes. If a change is significant, we’ll do our best to notify customers via email or a site notice.

13. Severability

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply. The unenforceable section will be limited or removed only as needed to make the rest enforceable.
